I wish I'd realized in High School how awesome it is to be a nerd. To not have the crutch of the popularity machine. To not care what other people think about you, because if you accept yourself, everyone should. To be proud of your good grades and achievements. To be able to freely be you and not a sheep. To full scale geek over things like fantasy, sci-fi, and comic books. To be authentic to who you are. It's awesome to be a nerd, and I've finally realized that.
